The Beginning

Called at 15. Still Preaching at 65+.

At the age of 15, Kenneth Brock heard a call he could not ignore. Under the guidance of the late Dr. Ananias Davis of Welcome Baptist Church — who served not only as his spiritual leader but as a hands-on mentor — young Kenneth began a ministry journey that would span more than five decades.

Throughout his teenage years, Dr. Brock traveled across the nation preaching the Gospel, touching lives with messages that carried weight beyond his years. The anointing was evident. The calling was undeniable. And the training he received from Dr. Davis — grounded in Scripture, in integrity, and in love for people — shaped every dimension of the ministry he leads today.

After more than 50 years of preaching, God brought him full circle — back to the church where his journey began — to lead New Welcome Missionary Baptist Church as Senior Pastor, alongside his beloved wife, First Lady Yvonne Brock.
